Luna's Nightmare

Luna's hooves pounded against the ground as she ran as fast as she could. She didn't dare look back.

"Hoo-hoo! Come now Princess! No need to run!" Luna only went faster, her heart pounding against her chest as she heard her pursuer's voice call out to her,

'I mustn't let him catch me!' she thought to herself. She was panting, but without the ability to use her wings or magic, running away was her only choice. Her hooves, which were once on grass as she ran through the forest, were now colliding with rocks. The moon shone, and she skidded to a stop on the edge of a cliff. "Oh no..." she whispered. She turned, hoping to be able to find another way, but stop and gasped at the sight in front of her. Her pursuer was crouched, ready to pounce.

"Princess." the bug hissed. She whimpered.

"We know not what you are, but we demand you leave us alone you monster!" Luna demanded in a last hope. The cybrid looked at her with glowing yellow eyes, tilting his head slightly, before laughing.

"Not a chance Princess." he hissed, suddenly picking her up with a clawed hand. She kicked and fought. but that only seemed to amuse the bug more.

"Let us down!" she cried.

"Ah, but Princess. If I- hoo-hoo- If I do that, then I would starve. Besides, this is YOUR nightmare." the bug said, before dropping the Princess. She screamed as she fell into the creatures gaping mouth...

Luna screamed before jolting upright. She glanced around in fear before realizing that she was in her bed. Sighing, she slipped out from under the covers and walked into the bathroom adjoining her room. She ran cold water over her face and shivered.

"Twas only a dream." she told herself. But she was wrong. It wasn't a dream.

It was a nightmare.

So, I thought of this story (don't ask me how, just did), and I really wanted to practice with Paint Tool Sai. So, this picture was born! Took a couple of hours, since I also practiced shading as well. I think it came out really well

Also, you all should know who is chasing her. If you don't, all I can say is that this is a crossover story
